Eight stops, three kids, two meals and SIX HOURS later.....

Once again (not sure why I do it to myself) I decided that I could manage another shopping/errand day with the kids in tow. We did manage and we were able to get a lot of things accomplished, but everyone in this house is TIRED!!! I'm thinking maybe a 6:30 bedtime for the kiddos?!? We left home a little before 8:00 and headed for Walgreens. From there we went to Fareway, the C.F. CVS, the can redemption center (which took 45 LONG minutes!), Hy-Vee, the hospital (where I had to get a Rho-gam shot and found out that I failed my 1 hour glucola test so I have to go back on Monday for the four hour test...YUCK!!!!), Target, and then finally to the Waterloo CVS. During our outing we had breakfast in the car, snacks in the car and lunch in the car. (I don't do this for money saving reasons, I do it because it is NOT FUN to take 3 kids into any kind of restaurant - fast food or otherwise!) As you will see, we did REALLY WELL (and will most likely be spending some extra money at the dentist in coming years due to the ridiculous amount of super-sugary cereal we will be consuming over the next several months)!

  1. When you got the ham, did the meat dept. slice it for you? I have that on my list, but I was hoping they would slice it for sandwich meat for me.
