Awesome Target Deals!

Macy, Tade and I headed out for some deals last night and we really scored big at Target. I had stopped there Monday night to get in on the Special K deal (buy 4, get a $5 Target gift card) and the Special K coupons have reset since then on Coupons.com, so I wanted to grab some more. While we were there we also got some FREE ice cream, almost free Buddies soap and really cheap cereal. I broke up my purchases into 4 transactions so that I would have the least out of pocket expense. Check out my deals below!

In total, my purchases yesterday at Target were $81.44 and I paid $1.12 out of pocket!!! (And once again, I will go back for that final $5 GC, making my deals even sweeter!)

OH! I almost forgot to mention this: Target has a $1.50/1 Huggies diaper coupon out right now. I had lots of $3/1 Huggies pure and natural diaper coupons to match them up with, but my Target only had the really big packs of diapers and I didn't want to spend that much. So, I took my Target ad over to Walmart and they price matched the Target diapers at $8.99/package and then they also accepted the Target coupons, bringing them down to $7.49. Paired with my $3/1 MFC, I paid only $4.49 for each package of diapers. I will also send in my receipt to the Caregivers Marketplace rebate and get $3 back, making these diapers just $3.74 a pack! Now that is what I call super couponing!

  1. I went to target and was able to use 4 Special K coupons from the web, and 4 target coupons, so if you count the $5 gift card, I only paid 31 cents! Yeah!
Also, tomorrow all the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Hy-Vee are doing special one day sales for 9-09-09. Bananas will be 9 cents a lbs. 1/2 gallons of milk will be 99 cents, sliced turkey is 99 cents a lb, and the best deal is that Dr Pepper/7-up will be 99 cents for the 6 pack bottles. (Meat will be really cheap too; salmon, shrimp, ground chuck patties will all be 99 cents as well.)
